Here are some hints of what we hope to include in our next issue:

We make no apologies for dedicating this issue to Pernell Roberts and the character of Adam. Pernell will celebrate his 80th birthday around the time the magazine drops through your letter box and his too. In this issue we wish him a very happy birthday and many more years to enjoy his retirement.

We start by allowing our cover to be a simple photograph with no text to spoil your enjoyment. Instead of an opening interview we have seven pages of good wishes including one very special one.... more...

50th Anniversary Friendship Convention 2009

Remember the first time the Cartwrights rode into your living room and captured your heart and you heard the theme music that defines a generation? Then join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the premier of the world's best loved western.

BONANZA fans will be at Lake Tahoe from 10th - 14th September 2009. Make it a three or five day weekend talking to like-minded friends, watching the guys on twelve foot screens, talking to our special guests from families, cast and crew and exploring Cartwright country.

Don't be disappointed, join in every event and place your order early.

Nominate Your Favorites For The BONANZA Walter's Award

Hollywood has its Oscar's so we felt it was time that BONANZA competed. As its such a special show, we wanted to pay tribute to the most laid back actor who ever starred in it - WALTER.

At the BONANZA 50th Anniversary Convention we will be awarding our very own Walter's in a fun ceremony. Because Walter likes everything understated, there will be no red carpet and no actual statuettes and thank goodness no acceptance speeches, just video clips of our favorite actors and scenes.

Before we can vote on our favorites we need fans to make nominations in the fifteen categories. Simply complete the form with your choices for a Walter in 2009 and click on the link to submit it. The three best in each category will be offered to fans for a vote and shown at the Convention prior to the announcement of the winners. Make it clear which scene or episode you are nominating. Nominations and voting are open to all fans not simply those attending the convention.

Nominations will close on 12th September 2008. Voting will begin online as soon as possible after this date.
