Extra Tickets: Can I buy my ticket now and extras tickets for friends and family at a later date?
YES. When purchasing the extras tickets make sure that you make it clear on the second order form that you have already purchased a full 3 day ticket at an earlier date. If purchasing extras tickets for the Virginia City trip at a later date, be aware that the free guided walking tour may already be full as numbers are limited.

Extra Tickets:Can I reserve extra tickets for the extra days or for friends and family and pay later?
NO, Tickets for the extra days and for extras for friends and family such as the Dixie Breakfast and the Celebration party must be paid for at the time of making your reservation for them. You can of course make just a three day reservation and pay a deposit only for this and then at a later date make the other reservations but there is no guarantee that there will be places on the Dixie or at the Party at a later date as these numbers are limited. The Monday and Thursday tickets should be available throughout until we reach our maximum for the event.

Ponderosa Dinner: Can I register my interest in attending when I purchase my convention ticket?
Regretably NO. It would be a huge administrative task to keep track of interested parties and email them all prior to announcing the dinner. If the stars of The PONDEROSA agree to attend we will advise fans via the website and a separate order form will be made available at this time. Because of our new venue numbers will not be as restricted as in 2005 and I hope everyone who wants to attend will be accommodated. Our purpose in publishing a price and a day is to help those interested to plan their weekend. If held the dinner will be on Thursday 10th at a cost of $40 per person. We do not expect to know for sure whether the guys are attending until at least next October.

Hotel Reservations: Can I reserve my hotel room now?
NO. The Horizon Hotel will only take reservations 12 months in advance. We hope to negotiate some special rates for our convention goers when we visit in May 2008. With over 500 rooms I'm sure there will be space for everyone.

Refunds: - What happens if I register and then am unable to attend?
Regretably because we are non-profit making and have to pay for our venues etc. in advance we are unable to offer refunds. However, in the past if someone has paid for a ticket and then been unable to attend we have tried to put them in touch with other fans, who have not yet bought tickets, via our message board. This has usually produced a successful outcome all around. However, if you do sell your ticket to another fan please advise us, as our records are kept by name and we will need the new address to send out any information.

Non-BONANZA loving partners and friends: What is there for them to do while I am at the convention?
Several of our events are open to family and friends on an event basis – the Virginia City trip, the Lake tour, The M.S.Dixie II Champagne Breakfast, and the 50th Anniversary Party. All of these while having a BONANZA connection and flavor are not exclusively for BONANZA fans. Our message board is also open to those who want to arrange trips or events for families. I believe in 2005 a very successful group of golfing husbands got together. Tahoe has plenty of other activities, such as water sports, gambling in the casinos, hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, trail rides by horse and jeep, and nearby a Railroad Museum, a wealth of small museums and galleries and many other places of interest.
